The first time I met Amanda, was for about less than a minute. I was distracted at the library, planning to catch mean girl Jillian Girard saying something I could use to actually prove she is a mean girl, and Amanda tried to talk to me, but I kind of rudely pushed her away…I know, bad on my part.
However, she showed up at the used bookstore my cousin and I own - well my cousin owns, I just work there - called Read it and Weep. I got to know her (plus apologized). We soon started to hang out until she disappeared one day
I’m starting to write about how I got to know her and publishing it in the zine. It’s called “Cat’s Eye”, kinda after the totem she told me I was - the cat.

Yeah. Their crew terrible. The name “Heidi” actually means “honorable” which I find unfitting for her persona.

I met Amanda on my way to the Peak Park behind the High School (I think it was a Sunday afternoon). I don’t quiet remember why I was going there (or may be I don’t want to remember), but I do remember seeing her there…close by the water.
I gave her a nod, like saying “Hi” and shw just smiled and as weird as it might sound I felt kind of save.
I started looking at the horizon, looking for nothing. Amanda then came up to me and give me a note, then she just walked away.
The note said “Don’t take what people say too serious…you can drown on their words” and til this day I don’t know what she meant.
How do I know it was Amanda ??? Because Right behind the note it said “I’m driving and I’m dreaming stopping at the same old place
” ....
yeah guess what the name of the song is. -

Here is the full story:
My little brother had a play at school, and he was really excited. But I was riding in the Orion City Championships. I told my family to go to the play, because my brother would be heart broken, so when it was my turn only a couple of my friends were in the audience. Suddenly I heard this voice,
“GO ZOE!” And I looked into the audience, and there was the new, kinda weird girl, Amanda cheering me. I won the competition, and we’ve been friends ever since. -

I met her at Endever High in the crowded hallways, but my story really begins being awaken at 2 a.m by my little sisters screaming in pain and me not being able to get to her because of the boarded up window and the locked rotting door. All I could think was _I have to save her, I have to save her_. Read more about me and Jennie in my upcoming story “My little sister’s baby sitter, Amanda”
