What do you think Amanda is?

I think Amanda is a vampire because of the way she can get into places without a key and she can do things extremely fast like no other person ( like how she did that drawing really fast even though she had someone with her and how she can put clues in certain places but then she is nowhere to be found). I think she has always had someone with her because unless she is extremely fast like i think there is no way she could have put the clues in all three of there lockers without being seen. I think Mr. Thornhill is the person who is helping her.

I reckon Amanda can turn invisible and has secretly been watching Callie, Hal and Nia the whole time and seeing how good they are at deciphering her clues.

Actuallyi havent read twighlight just seen the movie. I doubt she is invisble because how would she show up on the video camera?

i think shes a teenage girl(who’s human) who’s hiding something HUGE but can’t tell anyone, but not because she doesn’t want to. I its someone else who’s making sure she doesnt tell anyone whatever she’s hiding.

oh, maybe she could be in disguise right now, helping callie, nia and hal discover her secret without telling them! i bet she purposely got them together so they could use each others ideas! i dont think shes invisible, but i think she is watching callie, nia and hal some how.

I’m with Kitty, someone likes Twilight too much. the whole franchise is highly overrated, anyway.
I think Amanda does have some sort of supernatural power, but I’m not sure what it is. She can make things happen. When I first met her, she had her journal, and no matter what angle I looked at it from, the glare from the lights always made it impossible to see what she was doing and what was in the journal. She probably has some sort of telekinesis, but she can also do other things besides moving them. She keeps it all to a minimum, though, for secrecy reasons.
She has more power than she’s willing to show. Much more. I feel as if she could stop the world spinning with just a flick of her hand. As we all know, there is more to Amanda than meets the eye, but I do think she’s more than a normal human. Or maybe she’s just tapped into something the rest of us haven’t.
Or maybe I’m overthinking it, reading too much fantasy. But you can never be sure. ;)

I think she is someone who is looking for something better than what she had before. She’s definitely keeping secrets because she doesn’t want to be under scrutiny.
What it is I do not yet know.

i think amanda is a normal, teenaged girl. although, im 99.9% sure she is hiding something big. i believe maybe even callie’s mom could have sent amanda over to watch out for callie or maybe amanda knows something about callies mom that she’s trying to tell callie. Well i believe that amanda and callie’s mom tie in some way or another.

Okay, yeah, no! AMANDA IS NOT A VAMPIRE! HOW DARE YOU! THAT IS TOTALLY INSULTING, SEEING THAT WOULD MAKE ME A VAMPIRE TOO AND I AM NOT A VAMPIRE! I AM TOTALLY NOT A VAMPIRE! AND NEITHER IS AMANDA. NO, NO VAMPIRE HERE! seriously. not kidding. not lying…. although that is what Amanda said when she WAS lying…. guess i picked that up… not that I’m lying, which I’m not. So not a vampire!

brianna97, I can’t believe you picked that all up from the movie. You soooo have to read the book, but don’t get any other ideas about Amanda from it!
By the way I have no idea who Amanda really is. Maybe a human but with a special unique talent but…
I think brianna97 could be right when she says Thornhill is helping Amanda. I think they had a stronger connection than student - vice principal because there is no way Amanda would of asked for help from Thornhill in the letter if they didn’t know each other very well. Also Amanda wrote ‘please help US’ on the letter so it isn’t just her who needs help. Thornhill must know who the other person / persons are. Do you think Thornhill knows the other girl that was with Amanda when they ‘re-designed’ his car? And why didn’t he just check the sercurity camera himself. That would of shown Nia, Hal and Callie were inocent.
Also, don’t you think its a bit suspicious that Thornhill is giving Hal, Callie and Nia Saturday detentions until he hears from Amanda, when he probably knows just as much as them if not more about Amanda since him and her have a connection that is unknown to the world!
Also, Amanda wrote ‘danger’ on the note to Thornhill so he MUST know she is in danger. And all he wants Callie, Hal and Nia to do is let him speak to her!
