Hello all!
[is slang an Australian word?]
ok, so if you don’t know what some internet slang means come here, write it down and me or someone else will tell you. OK?
if ‘Slang’ is an Aussie word, slang is…ummm…how do i explain it?...just a way of saying stuff, really.
So what does ‘ikr’ mean?
OH!!! does it mean ‘i know, right?’

Lolzahs xDD. Nu, slang’s an all-English-types word, mehthinks. (And means jargon. Look *that* up if yew dun’t know what it means xP.)

Holy Moly!!! Do any peoples around u ever use slang, i mean internet slang, while they are just talking in general???? i have this friend who ALWAYS says ‘Obvious’ but instead of saying the whole thing she says ‘Obvi’ or how people say ‘JK JK!!’ or ‘LOL’ i mean..is it really that hard to say the whole thing? xD

nobdy (nobody) around me tlks (talks) slang, but we have our own kinda language tht (that) we use. We abbreviate a lott and use the reglr (regular) stf (stuffs) like i am. LOL :*}

yer, i had a friend from my old skool, she said ‘brb’. is it really that hard to say, ‘i’ll be back,’ or ‘be right back’.
“ok, we are not on facebook people! you can just say, easly, ‘be right back”
that was me, just to tell you. ^^^^^

And no, slang isn’t an Aussie (OI OI OI…sorry, I’m American. ;D) word at all. :o -

When it comes to internet slang I don’t really use it that much…Cept for like, a few things.
Brb - Be right back. If I, say, really needed the toilet I would need those extra seconds to concentrate on not peeing myself instead of typing out the words. Sorry for being crude XD
Cba - Can’t be ars*d. Same as can’t be bothered. I cba to write out cba because I’m too lazy xD
LIRL - Laughing in real life. This isn’t really anything to do with laziness, I just think that has a nice ring to it XD
And that’s it really xD
So yeah.
My two pence is now in the jar :D -

I generally speak in standard English while textinf or instant messaging… Unless it’s dunno, cba or confuzzled…
