Callie’s Mom?

After looking at Nia’s post, my mind went back to something I thought as I was reading the book. Does anyone else get the feeling that Callie’s mom has some sort of connection with Amanda? It would at least make some sense of the situation.I mean, think about it; they both mysteriously disappear and they both left letters behind for Thornhill…. A coincidence? I think not. Anyone care to share thoughts?

i deffinately think they are connected. callies mom might not be able to be with her so she somehow sent amanda. that would explain why amanda gave them the money but why are hal and nia evolved?

Maybe Amanda wanted Callie to become friends with Hal and Nia. To realize they were not so bad as Callie’s first impressions told her. Just my theory…

Well, we have to wonder if Callies Mom dissapeared before or after Amanda came to Orion. And maybe Amanda and her mom aren’t connected directley, maybe they’re part of something WAY bigger. And while Callie’s Mom sounded like she was running away from something in her note to Thornhill, Amanda kind of just dissapesred with out any warning. But in Amanda’s note, at the end it said “Please help us” so maybe Thornhill knows more than he’s telling, OR he’s just as much in the ark as everyone else is….

i think that amanda and callies mom are conected .for some reason its like amanda came in to help callie or somthing

Thats what i was thinking also
Maybe amanda knows callies mom. and amanda told her about what happened with her dad. and callies mother gave amanda the money to help callie out?
But i do think that they know eachother or atleast have a connection.

yer. totallly. there’s no way its just a coincidence. both of them knowing callie and all. and da fact that they both sent thornhill a letter be4 they left. do ya fink thornhill’s involved 2???

I think Callie’s mom and Amanda are both running away from the same thing. I think that Callie, Hal, and Nia are supposed to find this thing.
