i agree. love’s so complicated at 14…
i thought i was in love but i really wasn’t.
i’m 14 btw and i’m quite mature for my age…its all about balancing out mind over matter.

There was a girl at my school last year, she has had lots of boyfriends (she’s 14, 15 this year). I heard her say ’ i love you’ when they were saying goodbye (not her exact words but close enough) . I said to her are you really in love with that guy? she said yes. She gets new boyfriends about every 2-3 months.
I think that ‘love’, just like ‘hate’, is a strong word. You can’t just love someone that fast. If they were going out for a couple of years then said that, i would believe it was _real_ love for them, but since they pretty much said this after a week, it is not real. Maybe she just thinks that because they are together they love each other. I also think that you need to know what real love is before you say those words.
You do need to be mature. Think: do you really trust this guy? Can you be yourself with him? And all those other things…Or is it just you like him so you think that’s what love is?

Well, first of all AWW! thats so adorable! Second of all, I think… it depends, if it’s ur soulmate, it’s your soulmate. There is somebody for everybody, it’s just finding them thats the problem. And sometimes when we do find them, they aren’t in the right state of mind to be in love, so then they might be gone. I thought I fell in love at 11, part of me knew it wasn’t love. You just know, I suppose. I’m not in a rush to fall in love, I’m only 14 myself. I haven’t even had a boyfriend like everyone else I know. I suppose I do go to an all girls school… but not for long! I GOT IN TO THAT SCHOOL I WANTED TO GO TO!!!!! So I’ll be going there in july! I’m so excited! Sorry for babbling we need to catch up!

i personally think that we can. if adults can do it then why cant we? i mean we are all human and we all have different personalitys everyone can love. so why cant we fall in love at an early age? doesnt make a difference to me whether ur 47 or 13. who cares how old you are.!!!!!!!!!
well it depends on the situation i think a person can fall in love at an early age if they have gone through something with the other person

I wish I could read all your responses cuz this is really interesting…
but there’s too many.I am by no means a love expert
but I have fallen in love.Trust me it takes a LOT to fall in true love. the guy I fell in love with was my best friend for oh 10 years (we’ve known eachother since we were 2)
That’s another story though… basically I know what love is.
love is unconditional… if you are willing to die for this guy then yeah that’s love (or you’re suicidal)
I could write you all an essay. but I won’t. you wouldn’t read it anyway… but you need to hear this…
LOVE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE.
do NOT give it away to the wrong person.
YES. you CAN fall in love at 14… It. Is. Hard. BUT it is possible.
you can fall in love with more than one person too.
The more times you fall in love though the more of yourself you give away.1 more thing… do NOT get love and lust confused.
just because you are in love with someone does not mean you should, or that it is okay to get sexual or whatever
and just because you WANT to get sexual with someone does NOT mean you LOVE them.
This is where things get confusing.

which is y i havent had my first kiss yet.
i want it to b PERFECT and not with just any guy.

Maybe! if u find someone hoo is perfect 4, but most people don’t marry there boyfriends they have been dating since they were 14
