Hi, PoshKat here, all the way over in freezing England!
I met Amanda on a holiday in America. I was out shopping and she just appeared from nowhere and started helping me choose clothes. I got the sense that there was something a little…different about Amanda. But she seemed really nice and chatty. So I bought the clothes and as she left she told me her name. I was there for two more weeks, but I never saw her again. When I saw the book and found out she was missing, I was really shocked. I hope she can be found, she’s one of those people you never forget. Has anyone seen her recently?

How?
There must be like a bazillion people named Amanda… although this Amanda seams totally unique (Only up to Chapter 20 on 1st book)
I thought Amanda was from usa?
Im totally confused. She went to England?! Hahaa.
I wonder if she will come down here to New Zealand! :] -

Heya, I’m from England to and yes it is very very cold -9 actually. Anyways, strange thing is I went to the same High School as Amanda for aout 3 months, because my Dad got a job there. I knew Amanda briefly, to me she looked like a cool, quirky popular girl. I didn’t realise she was fairly new like me, she seemed right at home but always detached slightly from everyone else like she had way more experience then anyone else had. She seemed mysterious and yet interesting and that’s why I think people liked her because she was different. I didn’t actually speak to her much and I thought her name was Lola…I left USA after 3 months and went home to England and a while later I got and e-mail from a friend saying a girl at her school had gone missing. A girl called Amanda Valentino…
