Hey TAP writers,
Since summer is here, I came up with an idea I like to call Writers Writing Weekly! This is something that all the people that like to write can be a part of. Every week I would post a different genre or topic of books (Romance, mystery, fantasy, etc.). Then, writers will spend a week writing a short story based on the genre/topic of the week. Here’s the thing, in each short story, Amanada must be involved as a character. Whether she’s the main character or not, it gives everyone on TAP a chance to see Amanda interacting with your very own characters! At the end of the week everyone participating would post their short stories on the thread and get people’s opinions. It gives all you writers a chance to explore different types of writing every week! Please let me know what you all think about this idea, or if you have more suggestions, on the comments and poll above!

I like the idea, but I don’t think I can write a story in a week. Maybe you could change it to 2 weeks? And would people be able to post more than one short story for one week?

Ya, I think 2 weeks is better bikerqueen :) People would be able to post as many stories as they want in the 2 weeks given. I’ll wait to see how much feedback I get on this idea before I officially start Writers Writing Weekly.

This is a totally awesome idea. Would the stories be posted here on the thread or should we just post ‘em in the zine, with the genre/prompt in the title?

I think I would start a thread every 2 weeks on the debate club to let you know the genre/topic choice. Then there would also be a prompt title for you to use when posting your stories on zine. What do you think?

Ok, so since I have gotten a pretty good amount of responses, I am going to start Writers Writing Weekly Week 1 In a new thread. It should be posted by the end of today :) Thanks for the feedback guys!
