Hi this is Gracie Hayes and Stefanie Stone. We wanted to let you all know about some of the concerns we probably share about the Amanda Project. We know this is kind of long, but stick with us. It could really help the project.
It seems that no matter how hard we try, and all the great ideas we have, we never get closer to achieving our goal: finding Amanda. She was a really good friend to almost all of us and I am personally disappointed by how little control we have in her search.
Almost every time someone has an idea about where Amanda is or what we should do next, the moderators always say they investigated it and it leads to nothing.
We are sick of this. We think it is time to take the search into our own hands, and that means sometimes we need to ignore what they say.
We know they mean the best but we know what is best to find Amanda.
We also are slightly disappointed in everyone in the project who always post “great idea, we should investigate” after a good idea someone suggests after a story, but nothing ever happens. Reading 20 of these comments are irksome and they don’t get anything done.
We aren’t trying to cause trouble, we simply think its time to take the search into our own hands and find Amanda.

We also are doubting if any of this is going to be used in the book….we would like to know when and how from moderators. They don’t even have names that they could use in the book from some of us, and I’m sure they aren’t going to use all of the “that’s a great idea” comments in the book, because that would make it really boring.

I agree, but didn’t we have someone’s clue in the book? I don’t remember whose, but I think I read on the site somewhere that a clue was in the book…
But yes, very often stuff is started, but not finished. -

I remember reading a comment with a very good point, Please read.
Since Callie, Hal and Nia are like in a triangle and Amanda seems to be in the middle, maybe if someone could come up with a map of Orion and we track down the three places Amanda told Hal, Nia and Callie where she lived, in the middle of the triangle there could be a place with some kind of major clue!

Yeah, I remember that. The person who posted couldn’t find Orion on a map, though. Any ideas on that note?
