How did YOU meet Amanda?

I first met Amanda at a book store which I go to often. I know the owners very well (they let me in sit there and read entire books without ever paying for them!) I saw Amanda there a lot, and she was always with an interesting looking book and an oreo milkshake from the little store next door.
One day, Amanda was looking for a book and got frustrated. I knew, well I still do know, where every book in that place was, so I decided to help her.
The book was very interesting looking, and it was something about animal totems (after Amanda disapered I bought the book). She let me sit whith her and we took turns reading out loud so we could both read it, without both getting one.
When we got through the 1st chapter I looked at her and asked what she thought her totem was.
She said “My totem is the Coyote. The trickster. Oh, and I don’t think that’s what it is… I know!”
I asked what she thought mine could be. Even though this website says I’m a Raven, it also doesn’t have too many options. Amanda thought for a moment and then and then said: “A Fox. You’re sneaky. Sly. Quiet. Quick. Clever.”
I smiled because that perfectly described me.
Amanda suddenly stood up, grabbed my hand, and pulled me out of my chair. “Come with me!”
Then Amanda dragged me off to the Henna tatoo place and I got a tatoo of a fox on my wrist. It faded away but I kept going back to the store (and I still do go back) so that it never fades away. Whenever I turn 18 I’m going to get an acctual tatoo of the fox!
Anyways, after that Amanda and I were like sisters. She came over to my house every day… but she never took me to hers. She claimed she lived about a mile away from me, but I’ve never been past her “house” before.
So, how did you guys meet her? -

WOW! I love how you met Amanda in a bookstore! I’m normally to involved in books to see the other people coming in…Anyway, please check out how I met Amanda. It’s called “One Doodle at a Time.”

I met Amanda in school. I was outside waiting for someone eating my lunch, when she came up to me and introduced herself. She also told me my totem was the deer.

My brother and I always used to sit outside this one ice cream store. Almost every Friday. One day, it rained, and Amanda, she went and sat down with us too. We were both like 12

I met her when I was at this cool little vintage store downtown. I go to an arts boarding school, and Amanda stayed there for a couple months. I didn’t see her around campus that much, but we became friends. Before she left, Amanda told me her parents were at a yoga retreat in Mongolia. I can’t believe I believed her.
