Amanda is long, so when I met her, we shortened it to Mandy, which is what I call her now. i think the last thing Mandy ever said to me was, “How would you feel if I left?”

I can still remember it perfectly.

We were together on the sofa, and I was on my labtop, on the amana project.  funny really.  and i asked her if it was true, but I didn’t think it was, so i just laughed.

She wasn’t laughing.  I was scared, because she was finally serious for once.

my response was to think maybe she was leaving…but it was so ironic, wasn’t it?

the next moring, she was gone.  Dissapeared off the face of the earth… and here i am now, telling all of you…*sniff*

It was June 6th and my Dog who was there science my birth had just died and I was really upset. Amanda knows shopping is one of my favorite things to do so she took me to the Stanford mall to forever 21 and bought me all these nice clothes. I found a dress that was perfect for Amanda at the exact same time she found one for me. We tried them on and they looked perfect on us. We bought our clothes and came back to my house.
“For a very special party.” she said I regards to my dress.
“And what kind of a party would that be?” I laughed at her.
She sadly smiled as a tear streaked down her face,
    “A special one.”
The next day she was gone. With only a key and a note left in my locker as good bye.

I knew Amanda for only a day. She visited England, Essex Chelmsford. I met her at a local youth club. At first she came across as strange and slightly weird. I noticed she was new to the youth club, well I’d never noticed her before, she looked very confident and mature I was intrigued to why she was at a boring old youth club anyway. She certainly didn’t look like she belonged there. She wore black tights, a cream vintage dress and tan brogues. Along with many old-fashioned accessories. at youth that day I got to know her very well. She told me about her life back in Orion. Quite a heart retrenching story. she told me about her mother and father, how they both were at such a young age when she was born so they gave her away to a loving family so she could have a better life. She told me as she grew up she became to hate her adoptive parents and insisted on meeting her biological family. They disagreed and told her they lived in England and she didn’t have a passport and had never gone abroad before so her parents didn’t approve of her going to meet them. Then she told me she got a passport and got the first plane to England and tried to find her parents. She found out they lived in Essex Chelmsford but she was still unable to find them she was still on a search for them. That was the only time I met Amanda and the last time I met her, the last thing she said was “It’s better to let go and look forward into the future instead of the past. Don’t regret decisions you make, and Life is too short to be angry all the time when there is actually happiness around you”. I had so much more questions to ask but she left so quickly.
