What a thoughtful description of Amanda. I'm sure that wherever she is she would be flattered by this.

Family doesn't need to blood, and often times it isn't. Family is who will stick by you, who you can't stop smiling when you're around, and who you want to spend hours talking to because you feel an inexplicable connection to that other person. Best friends are family. Now does Amanda want everyone to become one big family? That's a possibility. Perhaps in her own ways she's trying to bring peace upon the earth by connecting everyone in one way or another. Or is it all just a game? Is she just trying to see how many poeple she can get on her trail, and how long she can avoid them?

Susanna may or may not be the thief. If she claims to be rich, there's a slight chance that she seriously is, and that the bracelt was something that she had gotten on her own time. On the other hand, she could ahve stolen the tickets and gotten the bracelet like that. But who said that SHE stole them? The charms. Key = Amanda. Coyote = Amanda. So what if it WASN'T Susanna who had taken the tickets? Maybe Amanda doing something she felt was nice? (And a bit in the way of karma towards Heidi for bragging so much?) For all we know, Susanna doesn't even know what the charms mean. She might have found the bracelet somewhere, and no one claiming it, she took it herself. [/whacked-out theory]

I do this a lot. I become scared of knowing them for fear as to how it will impact my life and what will it do in the end of it all. Will it have been worth knowing? Should I just leave it alone and run away forever? But then, I become so frightened that it converts to burning curiousity--what am I so scared of? What if it will end up saving the world? As soon as it hits that stage--it does rather quickly--I learn as much about the subject as I can, anazlying every detail. I don't think the letter could be referring to the money--by then Callie's mother had left and only Callie, her father, Amanda, and the bank knew about what was going on. I do think, however, Amanda is connected to the letter. What if (wild theory moment) the letter was given to Thornhill months in advance, and Amanda was brought to the school to keep an eye on Callie when Thornhill couldn't? Despite all the trouble she got in, it's not impossible Thornhill was the reason Amanda had come in the first place. And what if Amanda is the key to finding Callie's mother? (This would explain why she was so fascinated by keys) So much to ponder...

To resolve something depends on how much one wants it to be resolved. If you care very much to clear up the situation, then it shall be done, one way or another. If you don't mind what's happening, then it will probably never change. Something I might want to resolve is being such a procrastinator. I eventually get work done in time, and still get good grades, but the stress is really starting to get to me at times, so maybe this should be fixed.
