  1. Hey, has any one read their copy of the book yet? Because right now, I'm confused. I can't even begin to think that the woman I thought was Amanda's mom... I mean, she could be ANY ONE! What if she was in on the note (if it was a bad thing, not a good one) and some how got to Amanda. And I saw her constantly! We've had her over for DINNER! I feel so guilty right now. But also betrayed. It looks like Amanda didn't trust any of us enough to actually TELL us any truth...

  2. It also could be, in a weird way if any of you guys get this, that but trying to change or predict the future, you've already helped happen what would already happen. Like.. well, ok. There's this book called Enchantment. In Enchantment, Ivan lives in 1999. He gets transported back to 850 AD. He know about this time, he's studied and and everything and he keeps thinking in terms like 'No, that hasn't happened yet. He crosses over in 890 AD' and things like that. He's also wondering how what he does there would change the future. But no matter what he does, the modern world is the same. It's saying 'To get the modern world we know, Ivan HAD to go back in time.' Does anyone else get it?

  3. Maybe. I know that it was her and her mom, but I couldn't figure out anything else about her family. I think that it might've been a sister or cousin.

  4. I saw that car too (since I live right near her. I guess you guys are the new neighbors- welcome.) but I could tell that it wasn't Amanda. It DID look a lot like her though...

  5. Ooh, that one's good. If it's true though, then Hal, Callie and Nia might have to figure out which of them is whom so they can start finding Amanda.

  6. Actually aGirlLikeMe, Amanda lived a few houses over from me. I know that she lived with her mom (who is one of the SWEETEST people in the world), but I never actually SAW her dad. I mean, it could be nothing (just another divorce), but I had never asked her about him. In the morning when we walked to school together, we were both to tired to say anything with meaning, school would NEVER be the right time to ask ANYTHING, and after school was crazy! I was always rushing around what with having to tutor and youth at church and cooking and everything.

  7. It could be nothing at all. I mean, we all have some stuff that's completely weird to any other person on the planet. If it IS a clue, I think that it's trying to tell you that she's hiding in plain sight. Like Fashionista said waaaay at the start of the post, everyone already had everything they needed. You don't have to go to the ends of the Earth to search for her. Plus, the best hiding spot is always in plain sight.

  8. I think it comes down to if you keep your promises. When you get told a secret, you promise that you won't tell someone else. Some people will tell you that it's okay to tell another person, but then it's not really a secret, right? So if you've promised not to tell, then you're not allowed to say or write or do ANYTHING that might let someone else know what it's about. Unless the secret it something serious like a person hurting themself or something. Then it's ALWAYS alright to tell, but only trusted people that will help (parents, teachers, ect).
