I've looked at the plot of the film. It looks very depressing! I'll try and summarise without getting too morbid... Basically, it's a film based in the First World War, in Europe. Various people are involved in relationships that don't work out, and some of them die (well it is set in a war). There's a very famous tango scene in the film too. I'm sure I remember Amanda telling me once that she loved the Tango, as a dance, because of it being passionate, something you put your heart and soul into. Maybe that's what she's referencing here? Or maybe that's just a co-incidence and it's something else entirely! In Biblical terms, the Four Horsemen are supposed to be Conquest, War, Famine and Death. Just as cheerful! Their coming is supposed to be the start of the end of the world. Maybe Amanda is telling is that "Judgement Day" is coming for someone soon? Maybe Heidi? Or someone else...

Thanks! I was really excited to see it this morning. :D

Athena was the goddess of war and wisdom. In modern terms, that's quite a contradiction, but to the ancient Greeks it made perfect sense. Their armies were a central part of their culture, because it was with them that they controlled their empire and territories. Amanda is a contradiction, just like Athena. Athena was also the goddess of justice; perhaps Amanda is encouraging other people to mete out justice in the world, like she did by encouraging Callie to set the record straight about Bea? Amanda likes the gods partly because of their love of disguises. Given how she was a master of them herself, that's no big surprise, right? I wonder if Steve really quit of his own free will at all, or if he was made to disappear. Maybe he was in fear that something would happen to him like it did to Thornhill.

There is definitely a fourth guide, who has a lizard totem. Did Amanda ever mention anything to any of you about what kind of animal a lizard is? It might help you figure out who it is. I think it's possible that the other guide helped Amanda decorate the car. I did some research on lizard totems and here's what I found: "Reptile Animal Totems are special due to their cold-blooded nature. The phenomenon of reptile body temperature changing with their surroundings makes them a supreme symbol of adaptation. As most reptiles body functions depend on their body temperature this makes them dependent upon their surroundings too. Even so, reptiles are never slaves to external conditions. This is because they are super-intuitive, and fiercely independent." Know anyone dependant on their surroundings and yet fiercely independent?

What about a Doctor Felicity? Felicity means happy co-incidence, after all. And there's a lot of them happening at the moment...

Well, there's the people who lived in the house that Amanda told Callie she lived in. She was dropping by and doing good deeds and stuff for them. There was the brother and sister group that she helped out at, and all the people there. And the museum. And the bands that knew her at the club. She'd met the people at the show apartment and that apartment block too, they remembered her. And the vintage shop, and the book shop.

There are loads of conspiracy theories associated with the Beatles. Like when you play Strawberry Fields backwards, or the theories that John Lennon never died. I'm not saying they're true or anything, but I think maybe Amanda wants us to look deeper into her mystery. Investigate more, you know?

That's awesome. I'll totally go. I've got a poem I wrote about a candle that I can read. It's all about finding strength to go on when things seem dark and difficult. <3 I'll write it out here so you guys who can't make it to the slam can see it. If you come to the slam though you'll hear me read it live! :) When I'm in darkness I think of a candle A glimmer of hope in the gloom I see that small flame there a-flickering As it brings some small warmth to the room You may think a candle's not worth much That its size makes its usefullness small But without that small warming beginning Things may never get brighter at all Which is why I shall think of that candle And of watching that tiny flame burn For I know that the light when I see it Means the tide will at last start to turn <3

Definitely go! I think it's really important, Amanda doesn't do co-incidences. I think you should work on a poem that tells about your search for Amanda and asks other people if they've heard from her or seen her. After all, she loved the poetry slams at the Aqua; maybe other people there knew her too? Maybe we could all write some poems... who else wants to go to the slam? I'm totally up for it if you guys are.
