Amanda isn't going to lead us into anything dangerous :) it may be creepy but we need to follow every single clue we have because there are a lot of secrets to know.

I think she knew so many people there must be SOMEONE looking out for her... maybe she's looking for her parents? It's possible to know so many people and still feel so alone. Also IT is the country code for Italy, so you might be looking for someone italian (is there an italian restaurant/pizza place/ice cream place nearby? Sorry if this has already been said)

I think the Orion Diner might have a clue, there's a picture of a star on it on the map, I know you guys were just in there but maybe if you spoke to someone they could give you a clue. As this is all abut the stars where are some other local places associated with stars. Maybe it could be a star as in a person who you should talk to, who has a clue for you.

RRRules I reckon Amanda knew a little bit of everything, and that it wouldn't be hard for her to find out even if she didn't. But with all the links to Callies mum it wouldn't surprise me if she was an expert!

OK so there is a lot of symbolism around the fact there is three of everything in these stories. Three is the point where most people decide something is no longer a coincidence and is happening for a reason. I think this is why she picked three people. It can also is linked to stories (there are always three wishes - maybe Amanda is helping Callie, Hal and Nia get their wishes. Callie's is probably for her mum to come back, but I don't know what Hal or Nia's would be. It can be linked to the three elements of time: past, present and future. (thinking WAY back to when there was a clue to do with the fortune teller (madame lulu I think?) it could all be linked up. Good things and bad things come in threes often.

I really like SarahBs idea of the arrow of orion pointing to something; it's exactly the type of thing Amanda would do!

I just thought this was interesting, and some connections can be drawn: According to the legend of Orion, Orion was the son of the sea-god Poseidon and Euryale, daughter of Minos, King of Crete. Orion could walk on the waves because of his father; he walked to the island of Chios where he got drunk and attacked Merope, daughter of Oenopion, the ruler there. In vengeance, Oenopion blinded Orion and drove him away. Orion stumbled to Lemnos where Hephaestus — the lame smith-god — had his forge. Hephaestus told his servant, Cedalion, to guide Orion to the uttermost East where Helios, the Sun, healed him; Orion carried Cedalion around on his shoulders. Orion returned to Chios to punish Oenopion, but the king hid away underground and escaped Orion's wrath. Orion's next journey took him to Crete where he hunted with the goddess Artemis and her mother Leto, and in the course of the hunt, threatened to kill every beast on Earth. Mother Earth objected and sent a giant scorpion to kill Orion. The creature succeeded, and after his death, the goddesses asked Zeus to place Orion among the constellations. Zeus consented and, as a memorial to the hero's death, added the Scorpion to the heavens as well. Clues in this: Scorpions are mentioned a lot. I don't know if anyone had scorpio as a birth sign but maybe this contains a clue. Clues about the constellation: The three bright stars all in a row are called Orion's belt. A belt is something that holds something together; maybe it holds together this mystery. It is best visible in the sky in January at 9pm. Did something important happen then? An event? There is also a meteor shower around October 21st, is this an important date? Several of the stars in the constellation leads to giants, swords and female warriors. Maybe Amanda is trying to warn us about trouble ahead. AwesomeAnna93 here is the page showing who adopted each star. Recognise any names? http://rsaa.anu.edu.au/info/adopt/adopt-or.php Amanda could be telling us she's definitely still in Orion. I hope so!

There are lots of themes, admittedly none of them exactly common. :-) Here are a couple of themes and theories: None of the stories can be PROVED true without actually meeting the people and well, there's not a lot of chance of that is there? Amanda might not know. That could be why she's constantly reinventing herself, and she could be trying to figure out her past. Nothing about her matches up because she doesn't know much about herself. If Amanda Valentino isn't her real name, it could be a clue. Maybe there's an anagram in it, or maybe it's to do with st valentines day or something. It could be her birthday... Another theme: In none of them does she mention any siblings. Does anyone think she had any? If her parents were going through an ugly divorce maybe they were in court figuring it out, who gets Amanda? None of the stories are happy. They're either neutral or sad. Yet Amanda was one the happiest self-confident people I knew! She's not the type to make up purposefully depressing lies. However, when people say sad things the person who they are telling rarely questions further. Maybe these statements ground a halt to the questioning. Well, tell me what you think!

It was really kind of Callie to say that to Susanna and cheer her up. It was a really nice thing to do. We should check who came into contact with Susannas flute that day, and the possible connections they had with Amanda. Also who else would have given Susanna a charm on behalf of Amanda. I think Amanda isn't a thing of the past. She may need help as much as she is helping others, and also I R E A L L Y miss her. I can't wait for us to find her!

Does anybody else see the possibility that Amanda was just being, well, Amanda. Maybe she was just giving a kind, thoughtful gift to someone less well off than her. Or another possibility: Amanda knew it would cause chaos at school, and that people with the likes of Heidi would throw a complete tantrum over something as trivial as a bracelet. Maybe it's the effects of the bracelet as opposed to the actual bracelet that is the clue to this mystery.
