  1. I liked Star Sapphire, the handwriting analysis one - cross your t’s, Chalk it Up, and lots of others! It is amazing how far this website has come. I totally agree with Milana, it's cool how all the stories connect.

  2. You know how we are always wondering who Amanda's family is? Who her parents are (or were)? Well maybe Amanda views her friends as her family, as many of us do.

  3. Oh I know which one you mean! Thanks by the way. :)

  4. I agree with arvi777, what if you were adopted. Even if you never met your parents, your foster parents would be your family. They love you unconditionally as BlackXOnyx said. To me family is anyone who is always there for you but they also want to be there for you. Also, I think a family is a group that shares common views and beliefs. I think Amanda wanted us to all feel closer, but I don't know why. Also, according to historians and such, we are all related in some way, shape or form. My two friends are 5th cousins, and they found out a few weeks ago. Two people they are both related to came over on the Mayflower; and that was a really long time ago!

  5. @JollyGirl, didn't Hal and Callie know each other as kids? And they would go play in those woods? I can't remember why they stopped hanging out though. And AllieK, it's not a weird idea that Hal, Callie, Nia and even B could have been a part of this since they were little. I just don't know how Amanda could work in that situation if she is the same age as you guys. And Alyxtiaz, interesting connections. Right now there are 3 guides (even though there are supposed to be 4, but still).

  6. I seems as if Amanda was watching Hal, Callie, Nia and Beatrice since they were little, or she somehow got those pictures. Do you three remember a parent or friend taking those pictures? If not someone else must have, without you noticing. The quote basically means that earthly education and philosophy can't explain or account for everything. And Amanda was saying she believed that I guess. But I don't know why Amanda brought up the quote again. I guess she is saying no matter how many clues we find, we won't be able to understand anything. The important thing is probably to piece as much together as possible, and find more clues.

  7. SquankyDonkey, the 11 and 23 make up the first 4 numbers of the Fibonacci sequence makes sense. I tried to look up more connections between 11 and 23 but sadly could not find any. If I enter my first and last name, my number is 11, but if I just enter my first name into the numerology site, my number is 1. Both numbers do give aspects of my personality. (Ironically and probably coincidentally, 11 times two plus 1 = 23). I like the title of this post. I'm assuming you got it from 'A rose by any other name would smell as sweet'. (Translation: It matters not what something is called but what something is, which is true for Amanda).

  8. Still go in to the room I think. I bet something happened to Hal the first time you guys were there, or maybe he went there with Amanda or she told him something about it. Ask Hal why he freaked out. And be persistant, he should tell you guys. You are his friends after all. Isn't the Comfort Inn part of that chain? Comfort Inn and Suites (or jsut comfort inn?) As to why this hotel is super creepy, I have no idea.

  9. Good idea about the writing on the walls LittleStar. I also remember in a TV show or something, alot of Presidential Suites or bigger rooms had fake painting on top of the real ones, so no one would steal them. Maybe there is a clue behind a painting or mirror or something on the wall in that room? I also looked up the number 23, and I saw the 23 enigma, which refers to the belief that most incidents and events are directly connected to the number 23, some modification of the number 23, or a number related to the number 23. So for example, Gregory Tucker's final score on the golf thing was 32, which reversed would be 23 (the room number). I don't know if it helps at all, but I thought it was interesting.

  10. Definitely go to the Comfort Inn. I don't know if the front desk would know about her but still ask. Maybe if they don't know of an 'Amanda' ask for a 'Callie', or any other name we know Amanda used. I wonder if the room has something to do with Callie's mom instead of Amanda? I have no idea why Bea was with Amanda. Is Bea still at school? That means Amanda is still nearby. I remember Amanda telling Nia how she and her family were living in the Comfort Inn until they got another home, for her parents were going through an ugly divorce. I looked up the song as well. It is an irish lullaby (Too Ra Loo Ra Loo Ral translates to That's an Irish Lullaby). It was a classic Irish song originally written in 1914 by composer James Royce Shannon (1881-1946) and popularised by Bing Crosby in 1944's Going My Way. Killarney is an Irish town. If you go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killarney there is more info.
