I think becoming better friends with Bea is a good idea. Maybe Amanda is still communicating with her? We need to get Bea on our side, but she needs to know she can trust us first. I'm not really sure if I think Bea is Amanda's sister. I wouldn't want the whole world to know that if it was me, so I think Bea's hiding something else. Maybe Bea helped Amanda at some point or they went through the same things in their life and were able to bond in a special way.

My birthday is on the 23 of a month so I use the number 23 for lots of passwords and stuff. Also if you add up the numbers of my school id you get 23. Anyway, my name number is 7 which means I'm philosophical, quiet, analytical, introspective, understanding, intuitive, inspirational, reclusive, knowledge, awareness, studious, meditating. But the site I was on also gave me other numbers like my destiny number, personality number, and soul urge number. I thought I would try Amanda's name and see what came up. Her name number was 11, destiny:2, personality:6, and soul urge:4. KInda freaky but they add up to 23. Besides the name number the website didn't have any explanations for the other numbers it gave me, but maybe we should look into them.

No one really thought much of it when Amanda skipped. It was just Amanda being Amanda. Maybe we should try to find out what she was doing when she wasn't at school? Start looking in places that keep logs when transactions or something took place and see what we can find. Amanda and I had AP World History together during fourth. She was there almost everyday. Some days that was the only class she came to, but it was almost a priority that she be in that class.

Me and Amanda had AP World History together so I walked with her almost everyday, but we only ever stopped by her locker(A315) on three occasions. The first time she opened it as wide as it would go. I got a pretty glance at it. It looked like a typical locker. Textbooks, notebooks, ect. There were a few decorations. They were all normal stuff. Pictures of animals and things(I'm now thinkging were totems). The one picture that stood out the most was a picture of the original James Bond, Sean Connery(from the movie Dr. No). It took up at least half of her locker space. The next time we went to her locker she acted all secretive, and I didn't get a look at anything in her locker. The thrid and final time we went to her locker she had me ask Mr. Casey what the homework was for her class(I found that odd because Amanda was alawys on top of homework and test dates). By the time I was finished she had alreayd shut her locker and was walking toward AP World History. Obviously her locker changed from the orgianl James Bond theme, but maybe that can help us. She obviously wanted someone to see it.

I am dolphin. "People love to be around you not only because of your quirky sense of humor, but also your ability to laugh at just about everything...including yourself." That's totally true. Even when I get embarrassed I laugh it off and pretend its nothing. Famous me: Rachel Mc Adams (I absolutely loooove her) Color me: tye-dye (I always tye-dye my own clothes. I've never bought a pre-made tye-dye shirt) Song me: "Hakuna Matata" by Timon and Pumbaa (Lion King is one of my fav movies) I think this shows that we all have a fun side (some more than others) and we're all in our own way a free-spirit. Amanda helped bring out all of our crazy and fun sides(how could you not have fun when you're around Amanda?) We can always find someway to relate with what our friends are going through, and even if we can't we find ways to comfort them. Amanda definantly needs support. We just need to find the right way to support her.

Jump Rope by Blue October. Amanda always had a positive outlook on life. Whenever I had a problem she would always smile and say things will get better. She never once made me feel worse and her attitude helped me through a lot of hard times. "Up, down, up, down. Life's like a jump rope!"

I never think the ends justify the means. Kyle did help out the kids and Heidi is a spoiled brat, but stealing is still stealing no matter how you look at it. The kids do need some help, but why couldn't Kyle have organized a car wash or some other way to raise funds? There's lots of ways to make underprivlaged kids happy without breaking the law. I'm not so sure Amanda would have agreed with Kyle She would have definantly found some way to help these kids, but she was never a theif. I'm sure Amanda would have used that creative mind of hers to find another to get those kids concert tickets.

I agree trumpetgirl, the Braggs probably didn't even feel sorry, but I'm sure they didn't want to look like the bad guys, so they went on ahead and paid for the surgery. Anyway WHY they paid for it isn't really important. I honestly don't think they're hiding anything too important about Amanda, but you never know, right? So maybe we should start snooping again, and see if we can find anything else.

You might be on to something MLE. I know we've considered that Amanda's parents were extrmeley (and possibly famous) because of the money she gave Callie, but maybe her parents were famous for the wrong reason. Her parents may have done something (intentional or not) that destroyed someone's life and Amanda witnessed it. I'm not saying her parents are bad it could have been a total accident, but maybe Amanda selflessness and charity comes from trying to undo or compensate for something in the past. If that's true, Amanda wouldn't want us to know about her dark past. No one wants to be ashamed of their parents. As for a pattern, I see several things that could be very tramatic to a young child. Traveling a lot and not having a true place to call home, losing a parent to death, having your parents get divorced, having grandparents that lived far away.
