i do think it could be ian thornhill or palamino05's neighbor, ian tetegni. i used to kind of know him, and he was part of the big brothers big sisters program. you guys should look him up, and ian thornhill.

i totally think that you should check out if amanda was part of the program. luna*zeus, that's a really clever idea about IT. i also think that maybe she was a big sister and just lied about her age, so maybe you guys should check that out.

IT is probably like AllieK suggested something that tries to control everything in Orion. Hmmm, who could that be? Maybe Mr. Braggs? Does anyone know if he is controlling?

I know the Meg that RRRules mentioned... she was in mine and Amanda's art class before AV went missing. She was very outgoing, and she and Amanda were friends and often partnered up for assignments. After AV disappeared, she became kind of quiet. I'm thinking they were closer than it appeared. I was thinking we could try to contact her, but she's on vacation right now in Paris (anyone see an Amanda connection?). Also, in one of the previous posts there was a wizard of oz postcard. maybe there is a connection. I think Nia should read the book, maybe look for notes in the margin, etc.

i do think that this suggests the braggs are very powerful, and i think they could get rid of someone ( good idea, MLE! ) or do something else (ummm, didn't know how to word that, sorry, i'm a little brain dead!) i'm sad that no one got to sneak into the hospital (i was hoping for a little spy action) but i'm impressed that cornelia broke the code!

i totally think we should check out the wing at the hospital and talk to Bea. I don't know if maybe i missed some clue in Invisible 1, but maybe amanda has known the braggs and/or convinced them to pay for bea's surgery. on another note, this is what i think the poem means I HAVE GLADNESS I SHOULD SHARE-she thinks she should share her happiness with bea, she's grateful for what she has. A LONELY SHADOW BROKEN- bea was lonely even before the accident, and then she was broken (the accident, not having friends) NOW FLOWN FREE AND FAST- now bea is free to be a new person, can make friends, be confident, fly so to speak. hope this helped!

whoah i knew that poem sounded familiar! amanda used to say it all the time. she said it related to her life, but would never explain how (in usual amanda fashion). i never listened enough to know what the poem was about, so thanks RRRules for posting the full poem! now, it's obviously about saying goodbye, and if lewis carroll wrote from experience and he, like amanda, disguised himself, then maybe we should look for other lewis carroll poems and see if they have any clues that would relate to amanda (running away, having different identities, etc.) i'll try to look for some and if you can too i would appreciate it.

well it definitely means something. so far we think it could mean: that Hal and Nia's parents could be connected to project omega; someone could've "adopted" the star that awesomeanna found; amanda could still be in Orion; she could be warning us of trouble; it could have something to do with orions belt; that we could find the stars and that would lead us to amanda; orion's arrow could be pointing to amanda or to a clue (i like that one!) and that beatrice is a star in the orion constellation. sorry if i missed your idea, just wanted to summarize the main ones.
