   me and my cousins could be across the room from eachother and we will look at each other and crack up, same with me and lots of my friends, they love me and i love them right back (but a little bit more than they love me, lol). We just know when something is up when one of is too quiet. Me and my best friend both know when something is wrong with the other, we don’t even have to say anything we just hug eachother and everything just seems to burst inside us and we both will just cry or laugh or make the other laugh or smile. I love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!! :-*

   Me and my dad has this joke that when ever one of us answers the phone when the other is calling we say “City morgue you kill them, we chill them, how may I help you?” Then we laugh and he calls me his favorite son (I’m a girl by the way). Then when we get to talking and I completely zone out he asks to speak with -insert me real name here- and I go along with the fave son comment and say “-insert my name- isn’t here would you rather speak to Ralph?”  Ralph is what he calls me when he says I’m his son.

   My friend and I can crack up by just saying “the…” and we don’t know why. When know how each others face reacts when we feel angry or sad. We also have a secret “hand” shake that we use when we need to tell a deep dark secret.

   About the cake, does anyoneknow why there was that picture on it. It just made me wonder…

   Whenever we’re out together as a family,my mom and dad would communicate by whistling. But that doesn’t mean the they talk in a whistle-kind of way. It’s just when one is out of sight,they would whistle to get that someone’s attention. It’s like an assurance,to say that “I’m still here.” or “I’m here.” It’s kind of sweet if you ask me.But I haven’t quite got the hang of it,even though my parents are doing it for years now. When I whistle,there’s not enough air coming out.

   And about the cake. We need to do some investigating once again. Maybe it was really Mrs. Leary who ordered that cake. But we never know. I think sleuthing around Just Desserts is a must,well for now.

   The only real thing me and my family hs is my nickname “turts” from when I was a baby…hearing all your guyses stories makes me feel lame :(

   But I think that we definately investigate the cake. I agree that Mrs. Leary is prob just trying to tell Callie about what happened and why she left.
   Remember how we thought that somebody was trying to lead us off track a couple of stories ago…it could be the same thing!

    maybe its not a rising sun but a setting sun… like a sunset… it could be both… the beginning and the end… the sunset is the end of the day… OMG!!!!!! maybe its a sign… the sunset is the end of the day like omega is the sign for end in greek!!!!!!!! the fact that there is a raven observitory sign probably means that its connected to PROJECT OMEGA!!!!!!!!!  ta-dah!!!!!! Callie, i think ur mom is trying to tell u she is alive and well but also wants u to look into project omega!!!!!! maybe is we keep researching project omega we’ll find a clue from ur mom….

    oh and as far as silly nicknames…. my dad calls me pookybear… its really embarrassing…

    I think that your mom is alive… wat else would that be pointing to? It also gives us the idea that she is somewhere that she can come in contact(kinda) Knicknames r gr8 for life in general. My dad calls me Goerge as a pet name b/c he never got a son… three girls… so he gave us all guy names as nicknames. it is really touching and funny… Hang in there all will soon be relvealed.

    My family could win the Quote-master’s Award (if there were such a thing).  We regularly use quotes and obscure references from movies, shows, books, ect. throughout our daily lives.  It’s handy knowing so much, because we use the knowledge with our friends who then think were hilarious (they have no clue where the quotes come from).

    Well I agree with Maddie maybe we are looking at it wrong…I think it is a symobol of the end it makes perfect sense…
    There is something about the Project Omega that doesn’t seem to fit. Like what would the company accomplish from making a mass panic? Well everybody would focusing on “the end” so they could get away with something….I think that Project Omega is definately a cover but what for?? Maybe thats what we need to find out to know why your Callie’s mother left?

    Me and my best friend have this privite joke about waffles. All you have to do is mention waffles and we both crack up.

    It may be nothing, but I think it’s weird that we’re discovering all this stuff about “the end” so close to 2012. It may be just a coindence, but you guys think someone connected to the mass panic thrity years ago is planning for something to happen in three years? Maybe it’s just a coincedence, but I thought it was interesting.

    With the cake that you recieved, Callie, I defiantly think your mom left to protect you. She obviously is okay or she couldn’t have ordered a cake. She could have potentially run away from her kidnappers, but I just don’t think that fits. She must have had a legit reason for leaving, and I think protected you and your dad might be it.

    wow, dem’s idea about the 2012 thing is actually pretty killer. Its one of those moments that i would have never looked at something in that way but once its mentioned im like OMG YEAH!!

    something, that me and my dad can always laugh about, is how i tease him about being gay. (He has more purple shirts than i do and im a girl) usually everytime hes weaqring a purple shirt and hes meeting me somewhere im like “oh, is your boyfriend going to be joining us?”

    me and my mom are both NOT morning people, so we always mix up our words in the morning. thats part of the reason that we usually purposly mix up our “good luck"s and “good bye"s “good night"s and “good mornings” :)

    Of course, if that was a message from _my_ mum, it’d be lemon angel food with raspberry jelly.  I’d _really_ know it was from her if we found a small dinosaur inside.  I once snuck a T-rex into a cake she was making, and it made its next appearance in Mrs. Schneider’s mouth at the fancy tea party.

    You know, that picture of a sun with radiating lines reminds me of something.  I once made a sundial that you could color and cut out.  I’ll post a picture in the gallery.

If she did, that means she’s alive and well and if, in this instance, she was alive and well, why didn’t she just come home instead of sending you a cake to tell you in code that she’s alive?     ilovepercy, ummmm…. i agree to disagree… i think that maybe it was a message from Callie’s mom… how could amanda be in contact with her…. i mean if they were wouldn’t Callie’s mom have just ordered it herself, and maybe the reason why she’s not home is because it’s not safe for her to come back, maybe coming back would put Callie and her dad in danger… maybe that’s why she left in the first place, to protect them…i feel like it’s very unlikely that amanda ordered the cake… so im gonna go with the whole Callie’s mom ordered the cake…. so ya

    I definitely think Callie’s mom ordered the cake, who else could have known what kind of cake they used to bake together? But I think Maddie’s right that she doesn’t want to put Callie and her dad in danger.

    My sister and I have SOOOO many inside jokes! my favorite one is “chipotle” because we once heard someone seriously pronounce it “cheh-pot-el” instead of “cheh-poat-lay” and now we can never mention the restaurant without cracking up! okay maybe it was funnier when it happened so i guess you had to be there! oh well

    There is NO way Amanda could have sent this cake.  Callie never told Amanda what kind of cake her and her mom made.  I think maybe her mom is trying to remind her of something.  They probably talked while they baked, and maybe her mom said something about the Omega Project and Astro Raven observatory.  Or maybe something happened the last time her family hosted the get-together.  I’m not sure I’m just spitballing here, but I definitely agree with Maddie.

    My dad is really random and one day he decided to call me Fogs.  It’s a really wierd nickname, I know, but it stuck for some weird reason and now he calls me it a lot.  Me and my friend have random little phrases that we say like “yo quacked” or “pop” or “woof” as like code words about what we just said.  Haha we’re really random!

    hahahha all of these are so random, its so funny! well i have another one - when my sister was taking spanish, she started calling our parents mamá y papá (mom and dad) to try to start using spanish more around the house. My brother shortened my dad’s nickname to Pops, which somehow quickly became Popsicle! now the whole family just calls my parents Momsicle and Popsicle…I think its pretty hilarious!

    i have to agree with Dem 94, i think your mom left you and your dad to keep you safe. i don’t think she left beacuse she “got bored” or whatever. i think something came up or a threat came up that forced her to have no choice but to leave. from what i have already read, she loved you and your dad very much. aside from the stars, math and science, i think you and your dad were number one to her. i don’t think she would ever just up and leave you and your dad, you were very close. you were her world as was your dad. i really do think she will come back, but at this very moment she can’t without hurting or causing unintentional harm to you and your dad. she’ll be back, she’s not gone.

    of couse this is just my opinion, but i think that if she’s sending you messages that she’s not far. that she’s actually watching out for you from a distance until she can come back to you safely. she can’t come back now and she knew that if she were to left any notes or “don’t come looking for me” letters, you and your dad would be out pounding the streets looking for her. She figured that if she just left without no explanation you wouldn’t look for her because you wouldn’t know where to look for her.

    My friend Meg and I say “Toe Sotally.”  It was my fault.  I was walking across the stage in ballet flats and I tripped.  Then, I tried to say “I so totally tripped over a flat surface!”  But my tongue got tied and instead I said, “I toe sotally tripped ...”  So that’s one!

    My brothers and I have like, a mini-sign language, too.  If we ever need to communicate in a group of people but don’t want other people to know what we’re saying, we’ll use that.  Even our parents aren’t in on it!
