Places, Everyone

So far we’ve seen coyote girl stickers all over Orion, from the fire station to the music club, from Just Desserts to our school. But there must be other spots that some of you know about. Can you tell us Amanda-related stories about any of these places?

   When my Grandfather first got sick and I went to visit him for the first time I saw Amanda on the floor for the Intensive Care Unit-where he was being kept. Anyways she was standing by the coffee machine when I went to get coffee(my weakness) and she cheered me up a bit by saying that my Grandpa was going to be OKay. Now that I think about it she never said that he was going to be Okay she always said “He will be OKay for a while.” And it stranely still cheered me up. It is also weird since I found the cayote sticker when I went to the hospital because of his death…

   My dad is a firefighter at the Orion fire station. It was bring-your-kid-to-work day, so he decided to take me to see what he does. When I was there, I saw Amanda walking back and forth outside. I wanted to go up to her and ask what she was doing, but I didn’t have the guts. She was there when I walked out with my dad to leave. What was strange was that when I got into my car, I didn’t see her anymore. I think she was looking for someone…......or something.

   When i was at the church the church a couple of months ago, i thought i saw Amanda, i turned back to see her again and she was still stading there, after all the cermimonies had ended, i headed up to the tower were i saw her, i saw there, then i sneezed and looked back up and she was gone, was she looking for someone, or somehing maybe, because i know i saw her….

   I know Amanda mostly from the art store where I work, but one time I saw her at Cafe Blue, chatting with an older gentleman.  He looked kinda like a professor - tweed jacket and everything.  They looked like they’d known each other a long time, which was weird, because Amanda hadn’t been in town very long and I didn’t think she knew many people in Orion.  After all this sticker hype went up, I went back to Cafe Blue and checked the hallway by the bathrooms where they have all those postcards for various community events, and sure enough, in with one stack of postcards was a coyote sticker…

   Frist of all, i would just like to say i am sorry about your grandfather mackenzie.. isnt it weird though that in all of our stories, there seems to be someone that Amanda is trying to hide from, or someone she is trying to hide with???

   I took my little brother to the park last month, and could’ve sworn I saw Amanda by the big tunnel kids climb through. I turned around to grabbed my brother so we could go over there, but when I looked back that she was gone. We walked over there anyway and sure enough, there was a coyote sticker inside the tunnel.

   I saw Amanda at Viva la Vinyl. I recognized her from school, but I didn’t know her name. She stuck out, not like a sore thumb,(you know the crowd there) but she still stuck out. Every time she’d come in, she’d be a different person. One day she came in dressing like the Queen of England with ruffles and an old-lady dress and the next time I saw her, she wouldn’t have looked out of place at a bad hard rock concert in the 8o’s. (acid jeans and black tank-top with faded graphics. Big hair.) That is just the way she is. Intriguing. Mesmerizing. Cool. I can’t tell you guys much about Amanda but I can tell you what music she listens to.

   We all know about the Beatles. She bought a couple of their stuff, but across the board it varied. Simon and Garfunkle. Dylan. Run Dmc. Some stuff I never heard of. The Move. (60’s psychedelic band) Little Richard. I tell you, the girl has taste. And every bin she took from has a coyote sticker on it.

   A month ago I was at the mall with a couple friends. We were looking through those booths, you know the ones that are in the middle of the mall and look like portable stores. Well, anyway, I was surprised to see Amanda across the huge foyer next to the Fabulous Wigs booth. I wasn’t exactly surprised that she was buying a wig because she’s unique like that, I was just surprised to see her talking on her phone very animately in an annoyed way, touching a wig. She hung up and made a face that from a distance seemed angry and frustrated.. Next thing I know she picked up a platinum blonde wig. Curious I decide to talk to Amanda when a huge crowd of people got in my way, making me lose sight of Amanda and the Wig booth. Finally the crowd dispersed and Amanda was gone. I ran to the booth and there was a bald mannekin head with a coyote girl sticker smack dab in the middle of the mannekin’s forehead.

   Amanda and i used to go to Just Desserts every monday at the same time at sat on the same table,Amanda said that we had to sit there and eat there because that was the day,the time and table we met so it would be our thing. the thing is that one monday i decided to go to Just Desserts because i had a feeling that Amanda was there. i didnt see her but when i sat in our table i found a coyote girl sticker in her seat.

    I went to Just Desserts and sat by the front door of the place drinking their awesome coffee and I was looking over by Amanda’s usual seat and saw her there.  She was with some strange dude with a black cloak on and the hood over so I couldn’t tell who it was.  It was a freezing day so it didn’t look suspicions.  The strange thing was, Amanda didn’t have a jacket on or around her.  She only had this white tank top and white shorts on. She didn’t look cold at all.  I stood up to go over and see her but se looked over at me, and over course my first response is to look the other way, so I did and then I looked back and she wasn’t there.  I walked over there and saw the same sticker you did marisunga. 

    I don’t know why but I took it off and looked on the back and saw tiny hand writing on the back.  It said “Crummyblaire tell everyone on Amanda Project what you found.  Tell them they need to find…” I couldn’t read the rest of the sentence but the next went, “Find before the 31st Oct.” 

    Someone help, I don’t know what this means only she new I was going to find it and we need to find something before the 31st.

    On my parents anniversary I was at the Blooming Bouqet flower shop on Main Street trying to purchase some tulips for them. I saw Amanda in there buying a bouqet of roses. I asked her who they were for, and she just smiled and start talking about our art class, avoiding the question. I saw the little card sticking out with the name “Steven” on it.

    Sorry to post two comments so close together…but this is important. You see tonight my parents took me out to a birthday dinner. It is my birthday today. Anyways my parents took me to Ches La Hayes (the food is really good) but I thought I saw Amanda over in the corner booth. But I thought that the restaurant was so not her type of scene so I looked away. When I looked back she was gone> I went to the bathroom and written across the wall of the bathroom stall it said “Orcle Cards” could that be the answer?

    I used to shelve books at the Orion library, and I’d see Amanda at least once a week, always browsing around the same area of the Fiction section… I think it might have been the D area. So I was curious the other day, and I went to check that same area, and I found a coyote sticker on the spine of ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ by Alexandre Dumas.

    Wait remember how there was a note that said “Crummyblair tell everyone on the Amanda Project what you found…tell them they need to find the…before Oct 31.” Well maybe thats what she meant maybe she read what Crummyblair wrote and knew I would be able to find the answer maybe what she wrote was “Crummyblair tell everyone on the Amanda project what you found…tell them they need to find the ORACLE CARDS before Oct 31.” Everyone knows that Oracle means a person who delivers authoritative, wise, or highly regarded and influential pronouncements. Well maybe she couldn’t write what she meant in case somebody else saw it maybe she really meant Tarot Cards because they can be roughly the same thing…right? Everybody knows that Amanda was big on her Tarot Cards so maybe what we need to find are her Tarot Cards before the 31st. But where are we supposed to look? Ideas…anybody?

    Oh yah Fluffybookfae I’ve actually read ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ by Alexandre Dumas. It takes place in France, Italy, islands in the Mediterranean and the Levant during the historical events of 1815–1838. The historical setting is a fundamental element of the book, it is primarily concerned with themes of hope, justice, vengeance, mercy, forgiveness and death, and is told in the style of an adventure story. Wait isn’t Amanda from France? Maybe she wants us to focus on the themes to find…something. And maybe she also wants us to focus on France…Wait now I am getting mixed signals what might she want us to focus on….maybe thats oh the heck with it. Do with it what you will…just keep me part of it…I like to be involved and do stuff with you guys. :)

    I am reading a book about France and it describes a girl around Amanda’s age and it looks just like her.  I don’t know why I mentioned that just thought it was interesting.  It also didn’t have a tittle or author so I am clueless.

    i was at this vintage store called artifacts, and i saw amanda. she was looking at some graphic tees from the 80s, and i was looking at jewelry. when i went over to say hi, she was gone. i looked on some of the hangers, and there was a coyote sticker on the rack were a tee that she had bought had been. kaylekat- amanda has been gone 4 several months. u were not hanging out with her three days ago!

    Well we know that Amanda changes from city to city so maybe kaylekat saw her a few days ago in a diff city… Artifacts-is that the place where they have awesome vintage minidresses and pendants? Because if so Amanda took me there a few times…and I loved the clothes!
    Hey city-2-city thats it! That is where the tarot cards are you know city-2-city the travel agency? The one I have an appointment at tomorrow at three? That must be where she hid the tarot cards…you know since Amanda was always moving from city-2-city! And also a month before she dissapeared we had an appointment at city-2-city to book a trip to France! That is SO totally it! I guess I will have to check wait what was that travel agents name…

    Being sick…it sucks but has its rewards at the same time. Reward #1 you get to stay home from school…Reward #2 When you stay home from school you might happen to find out where Amanda’s tarot cards are. But it has its disadvantages #1 you are WAYY bored #2 you cannot go get the tarot cards. After school I need somebody to search Leslie Twang’s office behind all pictures and everything. I know that the tarot cards are there. Then I want you to bring them to me…post if you can I need somebody to do it….I will be home watching TV like a good little girl…

    i just saw a knew sticker yeasterday. i went to soccer proctice at 5:00pm and i put all my stuff on the blechers next to the feild. at 5:37 (i know the exact time because i checked my phone right when i saw it because i knew that the time would come in handy) we took our water break and right next to by bag i saw the sticker. i could have sworn it wasnt there when i first put my stuff down and i hadnt seen anyone walk by the feild and neither had anyone on my team. was anyone else at the feild at 5:00-5:30 on friday? if so did you see anyone?

    Mackenzie, I went to Leslies office and i looked at all the pictures and behind all of her books, NOTHING!  they caught me and i did not want to be suppsicious…. so know i am going to Calgary in a couple of weeks!!!!!  I had to go to another office to book my trip, and i wen to reach for a little halloween candy, i reached and fell right of my chair, although, the candy was like a foot away from me, i could have easily got them,  but when i fell i kinda went under charlies desk, i was under there for a second fixing myself up, and i saw a coyote sticker, so mackenzie you were somewhat right, but maybe also going to Calgary is right, because i found the sticker booking my trip….  if anyone wants to come or has any tips for me when i go, just let me know.

    
      Hey Erica, i did not go to the field, but i drove past it on my way to dropping my sister off at hockey.  Anyways, about 100m from the feild, i think i saw Amanda, i tolded my mom too stop, but she said we would be late for hockey if we did.  when my sister got dropped off and my mom was watching the gaem, i said i was going to go for a walk, i walked back to where i thought i saw amanda, i searched all around the fire hydren, the fence, but then on the back side of the lamp pole, at the base, i found, not one, but two coyotes stickers??  why would she put two there,  anyways i did not know if i should take both, but i did so no one else could find them.  walking back to the ice rink i was really scared because i felt like someone was following me, i kept turning backa nd looking but seeing knowone, all i heard was an owl hooting,  i looked back for about the fifth time, and there i saw it, the most beautiful owl i have ever seen, it was a light chocolate brown with the hint of red feathers.  when i looked at it and heard it at the same time i felt a shiver go up my back and i still have no idea why i felt that shiver, but it was like nothig i have ever felt before.  the owl flew over me head and as it left, a small reddy brown feather landed right infront of me, i picked it up but i burnt my fingers, weird right, anyways i still have it

    this is all overloading me, all this new info and clues, any help anyone??

    I’m not actually from Orion, nor have I ever been to Orion. But I know Amanda. She went to Middle School with me, at Ponus, in Mass. It was only until spring break, though. Anyway. Just after she left, every tenth locker in Ponus eighth grade locker line had a coyote sticker. I thought it was weird, but put it off to those stupid jocks. You know, the really stupid ones. Every one did, of course. No one pinned it on Amanda - she ‘wouldn’t do something like that.’ Now that I think about it , though, Amanda would probably do something like that. Not for spite. Just, you know.
    Sorry if this is pointless. The stickers might not even be related - it was middle school.

    I had first seen Amanda at Just Desserts, it was a couple days before halloween and she was sitting drinking coffee (or tea) she was looking at a note book with what I thought was a girl wearing cat ears. Now I realize it was her, coyote girl. Another thing, I keep thinking I see them all over my house only I think it’s my imagination. Maybe it isn’t.

    Well way out of whack I know, but I was snowboarding on the West coast and I spotted one of the stickers on the side of a chair lift pole as I was riding up, I rapidly looked around on the way up but I didn’t spot her anywhere. Can Amanda possibly be travleing?

    I have some information about Amanda that may or may not be worth your time. But it’s worth a shot right? I can tell you that I am a sophomore at a private high school on the west coast. I can also tell you that at the beginning of this year a girl by the   name of Beth* transferred to my school. She supposedly has a best friend by the name of Amanda back at her old school. Her old school is a boarding school also located on the west coast. Now since she transferred at the beginning of the school year it is highly possible that between September and November Amanda transferred as well, but of course to Endeavor.  If you know anything about boarding school life, you know it is very possible to miss school and still catch up either online or with a tutor. This allows Amanda to be enrolled in two schools as you were stumped with before. As this is overwhelming, I’ll help narrow down the conclusion.
    Amanda IS attending two schools, and therefore is able to skip so many days and still receive an education. She even has time to leave you clues and get back for classes the next morning. She would be harder to find as there is no traveling between school and home for Amanda. The state of her parents is still a mystery.
    I hope this helps you guys. The way Beth talks about Amanda makes me think that she is the same girl. I don’t know the last name but I will try and find out when school resumes.

    I saw one at the blackbox theatre!! 

    I spend a lot of time there for play rehearsal, and we have this really cool wall in the foyer where people from the audience post their favorite lines from whatever play they had just seen.  There’s another one backstage where the cast does it before the cast party.  It’s a cool place to hang out, and Meg and I were there and looking at the front wall for fun.  I was flipping over sheets (the quotes are on post-it notes, often piled over each other).  I turned over one of the pages on the bottom layer (seriously, it was a quote from like, six years ago when the players did “Richard III”) and there was a STICKER!!  It was one of Amanda’s coyotegirl stickers! 

    Since obviously Amanda wasn’t here six years ago, she clearly hid it down there on purpose!  It was right beneath (like, directly) one of the quotes from the show, and the quote sounded like something Amanda would say:

    “When clouds appear, wise men put on their cloaks.
    When great leaves fall, the winter is at hand.
    When the sun sets, who doth not look for night?”

    Is this a clue??  I don’t know!  But is it worth checking out?  Yeah!

    i know this is a year after this post but could Amanda have been following the stickers? maybe she wasn’t the one who put them in all those places!!
