Who Are You?

I was trolling the site, thinking about Hal's post about totems, and what being a bear means, and everything you guys were saying (Amanda is all of the totems, we all have unique perspectives, we should go to the Orion Zoo), and I stumbled across this post by WhoIAm in Debate Club.

WhoIAm introduced herself, and made an identity collage to visually describe who she is, which I thought was really really cool. I know it seems kind of like a sidetrack, but I just think Amanda was so into who we are and how we define ourselves, that it could be interesting for each of us to make our own identity collage and post it in the Gallery.

I’m not an artist. I don’t have the mentality of one. My “collage” would end up as a picture of my room. Of course, my room is dark and dreary and really tidy, while I’m constantly happy (not optimistic, but happy), and very slapdash and haphazard.

... maybe if I invert the picture’s color…

My collage would prolly have yarn because I like to knit. It would also have some photos of my fave books, fave manga and anime, and sketches I drew. There would prolly also be some pics of my family and friends.

My college would would probably have some of my favorite foods to eat. Some of my favorite books, pictures of animals, words that I like, words that describe who I am. Background around the collage would probably be green, because my favorite color is green.

It would probably be littered with quotes. Mighty Boosh quotes, song lyrics, just random quotes. and probably some quotes from the HHGTTG and fanfiction as well… and there’d probably be a few pencils. and magazine ccuttings. LOTS. and movie posters…

My collage would probably consist of my various favorite quotes (naruto…twilight…. anything by Lewis Carroll…any other funny saying…) and would mostly consist of black, blue, purple, lime green, and maybe a hint of red. Anything that i like would be on there… Ian Somerhaulder (AKA Damon Salvatore from Vampire Diaries *MAJOR DROOLAGE*) Itachi from Naruto Shippuden, anything vampire, anything mutant… anything dark and mysterious (WOLVES! RAVENS! BATS!). Maybe a couple of my favorite books…. perhaps a picture of my dog Midnight (MIDDIE! XD) or my giant lovable malamute/black lab mix Bear (my baby boy… x3). sooooo yeah. There’s a lot of stuff that i could put on there!

lol No he isn’t. Have you ever read Vampire Academy. Dimitri and Christian, oh and Mason. The characters(especially Dimi) are gonna be way hotter than Damon. Though he his HOT

In the gallery is a college of my favorite things, but if I made one more to introduce myself, it would be turquoise, blue and lime green, and would have lots of random stuff, but also lots of book, movie and song titles and quotes. And something about I don’t let what other people say affect me or my decisions.

This doesn’t really connect with this story, but I wanted to post this here so people would read it.

Remember all those times Amanda left us messages in purple? (Purple pen, purple chalk, etc). Well I was reading a great book, and it said Lewis Carroll only wrote in purple ink in his journals! (He wrote backwards so you could only read the text in a mirror, but I’m not sure how much signifigance that has). I’m sure Amanda used the purple ink all those times because he did.

OMG! WhoIAm? I’m a Vamp Acdemy reader too! I never met another VA reader! I am so into Manga/anime and vampires. Have u read Vampire Knight? Its so good and really grabbing too! And yeah dimitri sound FIT! Vamp Knight is a manga book I’ve only read volumes 2-9 so far. I’m going to read 1 next then 10. I would probs put all that on my collage and I <3 drawing so I’d put up a few sketches here and there too. And my Initials are VA too! How weird is that? Val A and Vamp Academy! lolx

I love Damon too XD He’s really hot *swoons* I just started reading Vampire Knight too, I’m on volume 2 I think. Its pretty good so far.
