There’s a concert this weekend that you absolutely, no questions asked, have to see. Trouble is, you’re grounded after giving your little sister — aka the human shadow — a push when she tried to ride your coattails into the bathroom. Privacy please? Sure enough, you got grounded, she got a cookie, and the world’s inequity continues.

What do you do?

You discuss this rationally with your parents and work out a trade: you will extend your grounding by three weeks if they will grant you a reprieve for Saturday night.
Your best friend calls you from the concert and you hear the whole thing live — just from a cell phone.
You’re bummed, but aren’t a rule-breaker. You settle for staying home and watching BBC America.
You convince your parents that the best way to get over this sibling rivalry is to bond. You take your little sister to the concert with you and though not totally cool, you still have a totally awesome time.
You make plans to sneak out and will face the consequences if/when your parents find out.
