I turned one thought over and over in my head that night: what are the Perfects’ secrets? Of course I didn’t even know they had secrets. But then again I wasn’t all buddy buddy with them either. The next day I waited for Amanda in the same table in the library. She came as always; without warning. “Let’s get to work, shall we?” she grinned, plopping into a chair and removing a folder from her bag. I raised my eyebrow in a silent question. She then opened the folder to reveal three sheets of paper. All three had the name of a Perfect on it. I looked passed the names to see what else was written. My mouth dropped open. Who knew little rich girls had such mundane secrets? But they each had at least three secrets; the main one was highlighted. Brenna’s was by far the most interesting; she, before becoming leader of the Perfect Three, was best friend to the geekiest girl in school; Norma Higgins. ****************************************************
